The workers who asked this woman to leave are nothing more than a bunch of jealous jerks! This exercise fiend went to workout with her husband Saturday morning, then before she knew it, she was being picked on like it was high school all over again. She was confronted by a woman who worked at the gym, they told her that she was inappropriately dressed. Confused, she looked down at her full-length spandex and tank top and asked what was so “inappropriate”. The employees answer was HORINDUS!
Jenna, who goes by Rose Nickels on Facebook, insists that she was singled out because her breasts are large, and that supervisors at the gym even confirmed that was the case.
In an angry Facebook post she shared on Saturday, she wrote that she was ‘instructed by a Supervisor at the club that my tank top was inappropriate dress and is offensive to both the staff and other members’.
She said that told her that ‘at Movati, they have a dress code stating only appropriate gym attire and modest clothing is to be worn’.
However, Jenna went on, she was hardly the only woman at the club that day wearing a tank top. In fact, there are also several images of women on the club’s website wearing similar tops.
The problem seemed to be that her chest appeared to be ‘much larger’ that most of these other women, especially in comparison to her slim frame.
‘After asking every woman at the club who I could find on the way out if my attire offended them and they responded no, it became clear that the only ones offended were the two women supervisors working at the club today,’ she explained. ‘I pointed out to them that my shirt was no different than any other woman’s shirt. They informed me that it did not matter that due to my chest size I could not wear a tank top.’
Rose said she felt ‘humiliated’ and ‘discriminated against’ after being singled out, and doesn’t understand how there could be different rules for different figures.
She was also puzzled by the alleged dress code that the gym claimed to have, so decided to do some more research. She said she was unable to turn up any dress code on the website or in the gym, other than a vague sign that said: ‘Members are required to wear modest athletic attire and appropriate shoes at all times’.
Since her post has gone up, supporters have left horrified comments criticizing the gym and applauding Rose for speaking up for herself.
Several have also taken to the gym’s Facebook page, tanking its rating with a series of one-star reviews.
Despite the public outrage, though, Movati stands by its employees’ decision to tell Rose that her outfit was inappropriate. Though they regret that she had a ‘negative experience’, they insist that her attire was immodest.
‘While it may not have been intentional, Ms. Vecchio’s attire was not as modest … and caused multiple members to feel uncomfortable and voice their concerns to our staff,’ they said in a statement to BuzzFeed.
‘Following Ms. Vecchio’s own social media postings on this matter, we conducted a thorough investigation which included first-hand accounts from members and other staff, and a follow-up meeting with Jenna herself, who seemed to leave the facility feeling as though she had expressed her position.
They completely body shamed a GORGEOUS woman out of jealousy. It’s not often to see someone with such a great figure enter the gym, even I admit I’m jealous. But, I’m also happy for her and realize that she earned that awesome body. She wasn’t strewn on the couch watching TV horking down the sour gummy worms, she was eating veggies and fish then hitting then gym and probably going to bed hungry. At the conclusion of the interviews, the employees refused to admit they did anything wrong.
