{VIDEO} After 50 Years, These American Heroes Meet Up Once Again For THIS!

The Vietnam War was the most controversial war in American history. Many Americans were angry at the thought of sending thousands of our American boys across the seas to fight a battle many felt was not ours. What made it worse was the draft that occurred leaving our boys no choice in the matter.

Opinions were so heated that for some reason people thought it was actually okay to blame our soldiers. That is the most sickening part of it. It was a losing situation for everyone.

More than 58,000 died in this jungle war, but for four proud Marines managed to make it out alive. Dennis Puleo, Tom Hanks, Bob DeVenezia, and Bob Falk were all friends before being separated by the war.

Fifty years ago, they all posed for a photo down in Florida, proudly standing next to their surfboard, and through a little bit of research and some detailed planning, they managed to get back together exactly 50 years later to pose at the exact same place in the exact same positions.

In the video, these heroes get to share their story. This picture shows the beautiful side of soldier brotherhood that one can’t simply explain. One of the men states it perfectly when he describes how unless you’ve been in a life or death situation, trusting your comrade with your life, you can’t really understand the bond.

But this picture is worth 1,000 words. Thank you gentleman for you sacrifice. You deserve the highest honors for it all!
